Nutritional Blueprint Testing for Dogs

ParsleyPet provides the most comprehensive Nutritional Blueprint testing system on the market for pets. We test for over 48 of the most common nutritional elements, heavy metals, ionic minerals, and trace minerals. These include calcium, phosphorus, iron, copper, mercury, and aluminum. When vital nutrients are missing from a pet’s body, optimal health cannot be gained. This is a simple and non-invasive way to discover if your pet is deficient in essential nutrients or has an overabundance of heavy metals in her body.

A hair mineral analysis test reveals your dog’s minerals deficiencies and heavy metal toxicity. You will receive a full analysis explaining the test results and action steps

We offer two testing options. Our signature Nutritional Blueprint is designed for first-time testers, providing lab results and a personalized analysis for your pet. The second option is for dogs that have been tested previously. This test includes the same comprehensive analysis but also incorporates a comparison of your pet’s current results with their previous ones.

Option 1 | ParsleyPet Quantitative

HTMA Lab Results Only
(no interpretation)

$200

Includes laboratory analysis ONLY. Does NOT include intake review, interpretation, or recommendations. This option is best suited for professionals or individuals who do not require guidance and are familiar with how to read Quantitative HTMA, as it is not like bloodwork.

*ParsleyPet does not interpret Bio-resonance testing

Interpretation – Includes detailed review of HTMA results, intake form analysis, and personalized recommendations.

Why we recommend this: HTMA data is complex and pattern-based. Without proper interpretation, results are often misunderstood or misapplied. Our analysis focuses on mineral relationships, metabolic patterns, and actionable next steps.

Interpretation of HTMA results from an external lab or comparison between multiple tests. Includes additional time required to evaluate variability in testing methods, data consistency, and historical trends.

Option 2 | Nutritional Blueprint Test for Dog

$250

This is our signature test that provides the most comprehensive Nutritional Blueprint testing system on the market for pets. We test for over 48 of the most common nutritional elements, heavy metals, ionic minerals, and trace minerals. These include calcium, phosphorus, iron, copper, mercury, and aluminum. When vital nutrients are missing from a pet’s body, optimal health cannot be gained.

NOTE: If you are retesting your dog, it will NOT contain a comparative analysis with your dog’s previous test results.

Option 3 | Nutritional Blueprint Retest with Comparative Analysis

$300

This is for our clients who are testing their dogs for a second time and would like a comparative analysis. Comparing new test results with previous ones is a time-consuming process that requires manually retrieving, reviewing, and analyzing past data alongside the new results. We handle all aspects of this process ourselves without the aid of automated computer programs. This ensures a thorough and personalized review but also requires significant effort and time.

 **HTMA Data Requirements & Limitations

Consultations and analyses are based on quantitative Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) performed using validated laboratory methods (such as ICP-OES).

We do not review or interpret results from bioresonance, intolerance testing, or non-quantitative methods (including UCARI and 5Strands).

These testing methods do not measure mineral levels in a way that produces consistent, reproducible, or actionable data. As a result, interpretation would be speculative and may lead to inaccurate recommendations.

Clients are welcome to schedule a general consultation; however, these results will not be reviewed or discussed.

Not All Hair Tests Are the Same

There are two kinds of “hair analysis” available today, and it’s easy to mix them up — but they work very differently.

1. Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA)

This test measures the actual minerals and metals in your hair. It’s performed in a lab using scientific instruments that detect precise amounts of each element, giving you real numbers you can track over time.

Because hair stores minerals over weeks and months, HTMA can show patterns that regular blood tests might miss — like stress load, toxin exposure, and nutritional imbalances.

2. Bioresonance Hair Testing

This type of test doesn’t measure minerals or metals. Instead, it uses an electronic device to read “energy patterns” or frequencies from the hair sample. While some practitioners use this method for energetic assessments, it’s very different from true mineral testing and can’t show actual levels or ratios.

In short:

If you want to measure what’s really in the hair, you need quantitative HTMA.
